कश्मीर के कुल 11 अल्पाइन झीलों में से, सिर्फ़ सात झीलों तक ही The Great Lakes Of Kashmir Trek किया जाता है. पिछले महीने इजहार भाई और Daria के साथ अपन इन झीलों के ट्रेक पर थे.

सोनमर्ग से चले थे, विशनसर झील देखते हुए पहुंचना था किशनसर झील पर और रात इधर ही बिताने का प्लान था – टेंट में! पर जब पहुंचे तो पता चला कि यहाँ झील के आस-पास टेंट नहीं लगा सकते – सरकारी ऑर्डर है (क्योंकि यहाँ भूत आते हैं – ऐसा लोग कहते हैं )! लो भाई, अब क्या करें!
तो इधर-उधर देखा हमने, फिर आगे थोड़ा ऊपर देखा – एक पहाड़ दिखा. दूर से टापू जैसा लग रहा था – हम चढ़ लिए. सही में टापू ही था. और क्या नज़ारे – एक तरफ़ गदसर पास (गदसर झील का रास्ता), और दूसरी तरफ Kishansar and Vishansar Lake. किशनसर झील का पानी विशनसर में आता है.
ख़ैर, अपने को क्या चाहिए – व्यू! दोनों हाथ लड्डू लग गए हमारे ! एक ही फ्रेम में दो सबसे ख़ूबसूरत नगीने !
How To Reach Kishansar and Vishansar Lake
It takes 2 days of trek from Sonmarg to reach Kishansar and Vishansar lake. Sonmarg is well connected by road from Srinagar and Jammu. Jammu has a railway station that gets daily trains from Delhi and other major cities. Srinagar has an airport. Sonmarg is 80 km from Srinagar and 358 km from Jammu.
Best Time To Visit Kashmir Great Lakes
June – September, a mix of late summers and monsoon, are the best months to go on a trek to the great lakes of Kashmir. With so much of greenery and clouds around, the trek becomes more enchanting. However, if you are a photographer, you might have to lose some magnificent views of the lakes due to overwhelming clouds.
